Intended use
This monoclonal antibody is recommended as mouse IgG2a isotype control in flow cytometry. It has been used as isotype control with cells from different species.
Serum/Plasma samples
Recommendation
5 µl is recommended for staining of 1 million cells in a total volume of 50 µl. PF488P is excited by the blue laser (488 nm). The excitation max is 490 nm and the emission max is 516 nm.

Profile of equine lymphocytes stained with mouse IgG2a isotype control antibody 97B4 (dashed line) and anti-equine IFN-γ antibody (solid line). Cells were fixed and permeabilized prior to staining. The histogram derives from gated events of typical lymphocyte characteristics in forward and side light scatter. Flow cytometry was performed on a BD FACSVerse system.
