Intended use

This ELISA Pro kit is intended for the quantification of reduced and oxidized forms of human Thioredoxin-1 (Trx1) in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Serum/Plasma samples

The Assay buffer included in this kit blocks heterophilic antibodies from cross-linking the assay antibodies, thereby preventing false-positive read-outs. Heterophilic antibodies are commonly found in human serum/plasma and can also be present in other species. The Assay buffer has been validated using serum/plasma samples from healthy human blood donors.
