We're joining forces with MilliporeSigma to offer our popular Mastering ELISpot and FluoroSpot course for the first time in the United States. The two-day hands-on course will take place in Boston, MA, on May 12–13, 2026, and is hosted through MilliporeSigma's platform.
Until now, this course has only been available in Stockholm, Sweden. By partnering with MilliporeSigma – a leader in life science tools and reagents – we can bring the same expert-led, practical training experience to researchers in North America.
What you will learn
The course is designed for scientists who want to deepen their understanding of ELISpot and FluoroSpot technology and get the most out of their assays. Participants can expect:
- Hands-on lab sessions covering assay setup, execution, and troubleshooting
- Insights into key applications in vaccine immunology, cell and gene therapy, and clinical trials
- Guidance on how to multiplex cytokine detection using FluoroSpot
- Practical tips and tricks from Mabtech's and MilliporeSigma's expert teams
- Advice on assay qualification for use in preclinical and clinical settings
Expert instructors
The course brings together specialists from both organizations. From Mabtech, the course draws on years of hands-on experience developing and applying ELISpot and FluoroSpot assays across a wide range of therapeutic areas. MilliporeSigma contributes deep expertise in novel detection technologies and cell-based assays, including through their well-known MultiScreen® filter plates used in ELISpot worldwide.
