Our services are customized to your request. We can assist with every step, from antigen design to hybridoma cultivation or complete immunoassay development. After each step, you decide whether we move forward, change something, or pause the project. In other words, you are in control of time plan and costs.
Building on several decades of accumulated knowledge and experience in designing sandwich assays, we stand ready to help you.
You decide where we start so that you get the antibody you ask for. If you already have an antigen – great! If you don’t have it – we’ll generate it for you. With some antigens, it’s tricky to achieve strong immune responses directly. But don’t worry, we have our ways of increasing immunogenicity to generate monoclonals even against challenging antigens.
We develop monoclonal antibodies using hybridoma technology. Depending on the antigen, we can immunize mice or rats. All hybridomas are screened using ELISA, and promising hits can be further characterized using flow cytometry, affinity scout, epitope binning (biolayer interferometry), and FluoroSpot. Finally, selected hybridomas can be subcloned to ensure monoclonality.
Once we have developed the hybridoma, you decide to either receive it, or let us help with cultivation and cell banking. If you already have a hybridoma, we can offer the same cultivating services.
Would you like to receive your antibody ready for an application? We routinely purify antibodies and add conjugations. We offer:
We’ll set up your sandwich assay, be it ELISA, ELISpot, FluoroSpot, or other immunoassays such as laminar flow assay. Epitope mapping and assessing antibody-binding affinity can be part of this development to achieve the best match. We also offer quality checks and plate coating to obtain a final kit. The procedure may include:
Mabtech ❤️ mAbs
ELISpot and FluoroSpot are highly sensitive immunoassays used to study protein secretion by single cells. For example, ELISpot is the gold standard for identifying vaccine-specific responses in preclinical as well as clinical trials. By detecting several effector molecules in parallel, FluoroSpot can take an even closer look at the functional response to a stimulus.
We run ELISpot and FluoroSpot ourselves on a day-to-day basis, and continuously develop the assays. Why don’t you let us run your next ELISpot and FluoroSpot project for you?
No reader? No problem! Just send us your developed Mabtech plates, and we’ll read them on Mabtech IRIS. Depending on your request, we’ll provide a comprehensive data analysis, including spot numbers, relative spot volume values, and well images.
MAT assays are routinely run to confirm that pyrogen impurities don’t cause unwanted side effects in downstream applications. We offer the following types of MAT assays:
The assays are performed with pooled human PBMC and include endotoxin or non-endotoxin pyrogens as positive controls.
Do you want to optimize your ELISpot/FluoroSpot protocols? We can support you by discussing tips and tricks, or training your colleagues on-site. We believe that anyone can become an expert in running ELISpot and FluoroSpot.
Send us your request and we’ll schedule a meeting to outline how to match your goals. During that first session, you’ll meet at least one or two of our colleagues:
