Interleukin-17A
Interleukin (IL)-17 is a 16 kDa polypeptide that has been reported to exist as a disulfide-linked homodimer. IL-17 is produced by a recently described T-cell subset named Th17, distinct from Th1 and Th2 cells. Th17 cells predominantly produce and secrete IL-17A, IL-17F, IL-21 and IL-22. In mice, IL-17 has also been shown to be produced by activated CD8+ T cells and γδ T cells. IL-17 is a family of cytokines that play a central role in adaptive immunity as well as autoimmune inflammatory reactions.
Please check our different ELISpot kits for the detection of mouse IL-17A.
